Enrico Vannucci, Creative Advisor MASO #1

Enrico Vannucci is a member of the selection committee of Pardi di Domani at the Locarno Film Festival and of the selection committee of LIM - Less Is More, and the artistic head of the short film training programme of MASO. He has worked in film festivals and markets since 2010, in particular collaborating with the Venice Film Festival and Talents and Short Film Market - TSFM, which he co-founded in 2016. He also co-founded Varicoloured, a holistic short film agency, in 2018, Talking Shorts, an online film magazine dedicated to short films, in 2020, and Talents Generator Factory, a company dedicated to the development of new audiovisuals by emerging and established professionals, in 2022. In 2021, he became a member of the European Film Academy.

Iulia Rugină, Script Tutor MASO #1

Iulia Rugină is a Bucharest based director and screenwriter. She has a BA and a MA degree in Film and Television Directing at Bucharest’s National University of Theatre and Film (UNATC). In 2020 she completed a PhD on low budget cinema at the same university. She has written and directed twelve shorts and three feature films, among which Stuck on Christmas (2010), Love Building (2013), Dying from a Wound of Love (2014) and Breaking News (2016). In 2020 she directed six of the eight episodes of the HBO produced series Ruxx. She is currently a script consultant, after having taught Screenwriting for 10 years at the National University of Theatre and Film in Bucharest.

Ivan Bakrač, Script Tutor MASO #1

Ivan Bakrač was born in 1987 in Montenegro. He is currently based in Belgrade, Serbia, where he graduated in Film Directing. His films have participated in many international film festivals and have won several awards. He took part in various programs such as Berlinale Talents, Talents Sarajevo and Zurich FF Academy. His debut feature After the Winter premiered at the Karlovy Vary IFF. Since 2017, he has worked as a film festival programmer and script consultant. He programs for the Free Zone Film Festival in Belgrade, and the Drim Short Film Festival in Struga, North Macedonia and is a part of the selection committee at the Network of Festivals in the Adriatic Region. He used to be a programmer at the Montenegro Film Festival Herceg Novi. Since 2021, he has been a member of the European Film Academy.

Nuno Bernardo, Tutor for AI MASO #1

Nuno Bernardo is an award-winning writer, producer, director, and bestselling author, celebrated for his groundbreaking work in the intersection of storytelling and emerging media. 

In recent years, Nuno has focused on integrating artificial intelligence into the preproduction stages of audiovisual projects. As a frequent keynote speaker, he has shared insights on how AI can enhance market and topic research, script analysis, and production planning. His talks delve into practical applications of AI for filmmakers, offering strategies that leverage data-driven insights to optimize storytelling and audience engagement. With his recent bestselling YA series “Colégio do Templo” (Temple High), which has been adapted into a TV movie in Portugal, Nuno continues to inspire industry professionals and creators alike to embrace AI and other emerging technologies as powerful tools in content creation and distribution.

Wojciech Staroń, Tutor for Photography MASO #1

Polish cinematographer and director, he won the Silver Bear for Artistic Contribution in Cinematography at the 61st Berlinale for *El Premio*, directed by Paula Markovitch. His directorial debut, *Siberian Lesson* (1998), received awards at IDFA and Cinéma du Réel. His subsequent work, *Argentinian Lesson* (2011), won the Cinema Eye Honor, DokLeipzig, and Camerimage. His film *Brothers* (2015) was awarded the Critics’ Week prize at Locarno. As a cinematographer, he collaborated with Diego Lerman on *Refugiado* (Directors' Fortnight, Cannes 2014), Makbul Mubarak on *Autobiography* (Venice Orizzonti 2022), and Lina Achour on *Red Path* (Locarno 2024). He is also a professor at the National Film School in Łódź.

Djamila Grandits, Tutor Diversity, Inclusion and Representation MASO #1

Djamila Grandits is a curator based in Vienna. She is part of CineCollective and D—Arts. She contributes to the program preselection for Berlinale Panorama, serves on the advisory board of the Diagonale, works on programming for frameout - digital summer screenings, and is a member of the Non-Fiction Commission of the Zürcher Filmstiftung. She teaches in the Master’s program in Applied Human Rights and at the Institute for Transcultural Studies at the University of Applied Arts Vienna. Previously, she worked on the programs of DOK Leipzig, Kasseler Dokfest, sixpackfilm, and tricky women - tricky realities. From 2016 to 2018, she was the co-artistic director of this human world - International Human Rights Film Festival. A moderator of numerous panels, events, and interviews, Djamila focuses on entanglements and collective processes, working on intersecting and breaking down theoretical concepts, as well as artistic, political, and activist forms.
