Zorana Mušikić was born in Germany as a child of Yugoslavian immigrants in 1976. She holds an M.A. in Literature, Philosophy, and Visual Arts as well as a Diploma in Photography. She works as a multi-disciplinary artist in the fields of photography and film production. She has collaborated with American avant-garde filmmaker James Benning on his feature documentary Ruhr as well as has also co-produced the internationally acclaimed short film Maradona’s Legs by Palestinian director Firas Khoury. These films were shown in Rotterdam, TIFF, and many more festivals. She believes in film as a creative tool to portray current topics and inspire social change.
After graduating in Literature & Films from Paris Sorbonne/University of Sydney, Laure works for Le Pacte in the International Sales Department, later at the Cultural Services of the French Embassy, promoting the French film sector, in New York & Toronto, and for production companies both in Los Angeles & Paris. She is the founder of Tiresias Films, a company with credits such as THOSE WHO REMAIN (FR/IT/BE/TN) by Ester Sparatore, Visions du réel International Competition 2019, THE CRIMINALS (FR/RO/TR) by Serhat Karaaslan, Special Jury Award at Sundance 2021, shortlisted at the Oscars & Césars 2022.
