Benjamin Thum was born and raised in Bruneck, in South Tyrol. In 2013, he completed his degree in Directing from the ZeLIG – School for Documentary, Television and New Media in Bolzano. Since then, he has lived in Rome, Berlin and Bolzano, where he has worked on film sets, in production and television. His first short film, The Wolf, which was developed as part of RACCONTI | Local Plus, was shown at international film festivals and won several awards.
