Camilla Ruggiero was born in Milan in 1975 and graduated with a degree in Directing from the Civic School of Cinema Luchino Visconti in Milan and later from the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome. She has made several documentaries dealing with social and educational topics and has been holding filmmaking workshops in high schools since 2009.
