Cristina Puccinelli is from Lucca but moved to Rome to follow her big passion: cinema. While studying Communication Sciences at university, she also studied acting and started working in cinema, TV and theatre. Since 2007, she has been writing and directing documentaries, commercials, videos and shorts which have been presented at international festivals and sold in Italy and abroad. In 2019, she participated in Biennale College Cinema. She collaborated as a journalist with Alias and Loschermo.it. She serves as an artistic director of some cinema and theatre festivals and works for educational cinema programs as a coordinator and teacher. She occasionally works as an assistant director and a casting director for international projects.
