Helena Hofmann is a writer and producer based in Berlin with production and development experience in Germany, London and Los Angeles. In 2018, she completed an M.A. in Drama Series Producing and Development from the Film Academy of Baden-Württemberg and was selected for the UCLA Extension Hollywood Workshop and the DAI Heidelberg Writers’ Room Lab. In 2019, the project she co-wrote with Gabriel Borgetto, Midnight Circus, was selected for RACCONTI #8. In 2020, she participated in the European postgraduate TV serial writing and production program Serial Eyes at the German Film and Television Academy Berlin (DFFB). Since 2018, she has been working as a freelance writer and producer for several production companies such as X Filme, RatPackFilm, UFA Fiction and Studio Hamburg. Helena is a co-founder of the writing initiative Einfach Schreiben and co-mentor for the Academy for Children’s Media 2021.
