Lorenzo Righi began his writing career by publishing two young adult novels at the age of 18, but, after completing a master’s degree in Foreign Languages, he was accepted to the Academy of Dramatic Arts Silvio d’Amico in Rome to study Scriptwriting. He collaborated with Sergio Rubini in making a movie before starting to work on Rai Fiction productions and, subsequently, as a freelancer story editor. In 2017, he co-wrote ten episodes of the Disney TV series Penny on M.A.R.S., which aired across Europe in 2018. After winning the Carlo Bixio Award for best concept for a TV series, he began developing and writing several projects, such as a new animated series for Mondo TV, MeteoHereos. He is currently working as a story editor for the production company Altre Storie and is a member of Writers Guild of Italy.
