MARGHERITA PANIZON - RACCONTI #12

Margherita Panizon was born in Trieste in 1989. She graduated from the University of Reading (UK) in Cinema and Practical Theatre. She then attended FilmAP's Atelier del cinema del reale in Naples, from this path was born the documentary "Non può essere sempre estate", presented as a national preview at the Extra doc festival, at the Maxxi in Rome, as an international preview at Annecy Cinema Italien and at other Italian and European festivals. She holds participatory documentary directing workshops, and from these experiences two documentary projects were born: "La vasca del capitone - Appunti sul carcere" and "Melarancholia", part of the project promoted by SIAE Illumina called Città visibile. She lived for a period in Paris where she worked at the French production company "Les Film d'Ici"; here she had the opportunity to work on the production of Gianfranco Rosi's "Fuocoammare", among others. In 2022 she made, with Tico Film Company, the short film "Come le lumache", which premiered at the Venice film festival in the Settimana della critica section. Her first fiction feature film "Lo sconsegnato" was a finalist for the Solinas Award in the 2021 edition.
