Matteo Berdini comes from Fermo, in the Italian region of Marche. He holds a degree in Screenwriting from the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia and attended the Puglia Experience Masterclass on Storytelling in 2013 and IDM RACCONTI #3 in 2014. He made it to the finals of Torino Fiction Lab in both 2015 and 2016, winning the 2016 edition with his and Ulrik Gerber’s TV series Giamai’ca. He is currently developing two TV shows and his first feature film as a director with the London-based production company Born Wild. He regularly collaborates as a filmmaker with the Italian public TV channels Rai Storia and Rai 3.
