Michael Kofler was born and raised in South Tyrol, Italy. He started off his career working in production for a German production and visual effects house. Following this, he became involved in promoting and later producing and directing video content and music videos for a German record label. He then graduated with an MA in Directing for Film and TV from Westminster Film School. His commercial works have been screened at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona and at the World EXPO Exhibition in Shanghai. His debut feature Second Hand Land won an award at RACCONTI #1 and is in the financing stage. He is currently based in Munich and developing several international feature film projects as well as a drama series.
